I'D DO ANYTHING - SIMPLE PLAN [DRUM COVER]

I first discovered these Canadian dudes through the Atticus compilation, along with about 90% of the music I grew up listening to. I know I mention those compilations a lot on here, but Mark and Tom really helped introduce a whole generation to some incredible bands. Simple Plan was one of them, and I'd Do Anything was a pretty perfect introduction. Catchy as hell, fast, and featuring none other than Mark Hoppus himself. Simple Plan has always been one of those bands that knows exactly what they're good at. They've consistently written fun, upbeat pop-punk records and stayed true to their sound. Chuck Comeau is also one hell of a drummer. He stays right in the pocket, keeps the songs moving, and throws in some great fills when the moment calls for it. I remember hanging around the tour buses at Warped Tour one summer and somehow ending up playing cornhole with these guys in the parking lot. Pretty random, but they were genuinely some of the nicest dudes. They've always had such a great connection with their fans, and it's cool seeing them playing some of the biggest shows of their career more than two decades later. They still look like they're having the time of their lives, and I'm happy for them. #simpleplan #poppunk #drumcover #drummer
