WIKE’S SON IN $2.1M COURT CASE! 😱 FAYOSE ASKS HIM THE QUESTION WIKE WON’T LIKE
Nyesom Wike’s son, Jordan Wike, has found himself at the centre of a controversial $2.1 million court dispute in Abuja, and the development has now become part of a fresh political exchange involving former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose.
In this latest Political Gist Mama report, we take a closer look at the Jordan Wike $2.1 million court case, the allegations surrounding an alleged land transaction in Abuja, and the response from Wike’s son in court.
According to the claimant in the case, $2.1 million was allegedly paid in connection with a proposed land transaction involving properties in the Katampe and Guzape areas of Abuja. The claimant alleges that the money was paid for the acquisition and development of land, but the transaction later became the subject of a legal dispute.
Jordan Wike has denied the allegations and disputed the claim that he received the money. His position in court includes a denial of the alleged payment and a claim that the signature being relied upon against him was forged. The court has ordered him to surrender his American passport while the case continues.
But the Jordan Wike court case is only one part of the story.
The controversy has now taken a political dimension after Isaac Fayose, in his criticism of Nyesom Wike, referenced the legal case involving Wike’s son and raised questions about the former Rivers State governor’s political image, leadership and family example.
Fayose has also challenged Wike politically over his recent declaration concerning the 2027 presidential election. Wike has publicly stated that if President Bola Ahmed Tinubu loses Rivers State and the Federal Capital Territory in the 2027 presidential election, he would resign as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory.
That declaration has triggered another round of political reactions, with Fayose responding directly to Wike and making his own claims about what could happen in Rivers State and Abuja in 2027.
In this video, Political Gist Mama brings together the major developments surrounding Nyesom Wike, Jordan Wike, Isaac Fayose, the $2.1 million Abuja court dispute, Wike’s 2027 resignation pledge, Rivers State politics, FCT politics and the wider battle ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 presidential election.
We also examine the growing political exchanges involving Nyesom Wike, Bola Tinubu, Peter Obi and other major political figures as Nigeria gradually moves towards the 2027 election.
Was Isaac Fayose right to bring Jordan Wike’s court case into his political criticism of Nyesom Wike? Should family matters be kept completely separate from political arguments, especially when a court case is still ongoing? And what do you make of Wike’s declaration that he would resign if Tinubu loses Rivers State and the FCT?
