Cal-JAC Pre-Apprenticeship EMT & Paramedic Academies

The Cal-JAC Academies were developed for the purpose of providing individuals who would not have this opportunity otherwise to obtain the skills and certifications necessary to take their first step toward a career in the fire service. After much success with EMT Academies in Sacramento and Los Angeles, Cal-JAC launched its first Paramedic Academy in Fall 2022. The programs continue to grow and are a proven pathway for qualified candidates to enter and advance within the fire service.
