Pedikiya is very famous in Gopalganj. Most importantly, it's famous because of Thawe mandir which is again a famous destination for devotees to worship goddess Durga . In this temple " Pedikiya " is used as a parasd of Devi maa. " Pedikiya" is nothing but an updated version of gujiya .
