THE ENEMY WITHIN - PART 1 | Overcoming The Fear Within* The real enemy is not always around you. Most times, the real enemy is WITHIN. In Part 1, I break down how fear operates inside us and how God has already equipped us to overcome it. THE FEAR CYCLE: Fear doesn't start big. It starts small. Phobia (Thought Set) → Terror (Emotion) → Flight (Action) It begins as a thought — a mindset, a lie the enemy plants. That thought grows into terror in your emotions, and then it controls your actions and makes you run (flight). Many Christians are trapped in this cycle and don't even know it. HOW TO OVERCOME THE ENEMY WITHIN: 1. You Have The Mind of God - 1 Corinthians 2:16 "But we have the mind of Christ." You have the mind to discern that fear is lying! You have the mind to overcome. You don't have to accept every thought that comes into your head. You have the mind to say, "This fear is not from God." 2. You Have The Power to Overcome - Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." God doesn't just give you the mind, He gives you the power and the strength to walk through fear anyway. You may feel the fear, but you have the strength to not run. To stand. To walk through it anyway. The fear within is real, but the Christ within is greater! This teaching will help you identify the enemy within and give you the tools to conquer it. Don't miss Part 2.
