Why You Can't Forgive the People Who Hurt You — The Buddha's Answer, Read Until You Sleep
Some hurts are difficult to let go of, especially at night when the mind becomes quiet and old memories return.
In this peaceful Buddhist sleep meditation, we explore teachings on anger, resentment, loving-kindness, and letting go. The Buddha taught that holding onto hatred does not bring peace. Through awareness and compassion, we can slowly change our relationship with the pain we carry.
Forgiveness does not mean forgetting what happened or allowing someone to hurt you again. Tonight, there is nothing you need to force. Simply breathe, rest, and allow yourself to put down what feels too heavy to carry.
May your mind become quieter, your heart lighter, and your body gently drift into peaceful sleep.
