What Is at the Center of Your Crisis? | Daniel 2

What happens when you are faithfully following God, yet find yourself in a crisis you didn’t create, cannot control, and don’t know how to resolve? In Daniel 2:1–23, Daniel and his friends faced a life-threatening situation because of a king’s impossible demand. Their faithfulness had not protected them from uncertainty. Yet Daniel’s response revealed something extraordinary about wisdom, prayer, community, and the sovereignty of God. In this message, “Crisis Response Center,” from our Faithful in Babylon series at Agape Community Church, Pastor Florin explores three essential realities: CRISIS — Following God does not make us immune to unexpected threats, stress, or uncertainty. RESPONSE — We may not know how God will resolve our situation, but we can still choose the next faithful step. Daniel responded with wisdom and tact, sought understanding, involved trusted friends, and prayed for God’s mercy. CENTER — Our confidence must ultimately rest in God’s character rather than the outcome we desire. God’s wisdom and power remain unchanged, even when our circumstances are beyond our control. Daniel’s prayer reminds us: “He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others… He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him.” — Daniel 2:21–22 (NIV) Here’s the question: What does your response to crisis reveal about what is actually at the center of your life? Whether you’re navigating a difficult diagnosis, family struggles, workplace uncertainty, loss, or an unexpected change, this message invites you to respond faithfully while trusting the God who sees what you cannot. 📖 Scripture: Daniel 2:1–23 (NIV) 🎙️ Message: Crisis Response Center 📚 Series: Faithful in Babylon ⛪ Agape Community Church Learn more about Agape Community Church: https://www.agapechurch.life Subscribe for biblical teaching, worship services, and conversations about following Jesus and engaging our culture to expand God’s Kingdom. #CrisisResponseCenter #FaithfulInBabylon #Daniel2 #TrustingGod #ChristianSermon #AgapeCommunityChurch
