Crown of Ashes

Crown of Ashes is a dark Christian song about pride, false ego, self-exaltation, and the dangerous illusion of making yourself your own king. A crown built on pride may look powerful from the outside, but everything built on a false sense of greatness eventually turns to ashes. This song is a reflection on the human heart on the desire to be seen, admired, superior, and in control. It asks what remains when the crown is gone and the ego can no longer hide behind it. A crown without humility becomes a crown of ashes. May this song remind us that true worth is not found in pride, status, superiority, or the approval of others, but in knowing who we are before God. 🎵 Crown of Ashes 🎙️ HaTzur Studio ✝️ Christian / Gothic / Cinematic Worship “Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.”
