Two helpless persons found in separate locations in Udupi were shifted to Ajjarkad District Hospital with the help of social worker Nityananda Olakadu. In the first incident near the city service bus stand, traffic police staff member Malthesh noticed an unidentified elderly man in a helpless condition and informed Nityananda Olakadu. The elderly man was admitted to the district hospital. His family members were later traced, and arrangements were made to send him to his hometown, Saligrama. In another incident near the old Diana Circle in Udupi, an unidentified person who had collapsed and was not in a conscious state was admitted to the district hospital after the owner of Diana Stores informed Olakadu. As the patient was not in a condition to speak, his name and address could not be identified.
