Are the Seahawks Already in Trouble?

The defending Super Bowl champs are 3-3, and the 49ers are 5-0 with a three-game lead in the NFC West. The hosts break down how the division flipped so fast, why Seattle looks shaky, and whether the Niners are for real or just getting a soft landing. The conversation starts with whether you’d rather face Seattle or Green Bay in a win-or-go-home game. The hosts agree Seattle’s defense is still scary, but they ask what happens if both the Rams and Seahawks miss the playoffs. From there, the hosts argue that Sam Darnold is Seattle’s No. 1 problem. They say his interceptions against Denver weren’t just bad decisions, they were backbreakers. They also question the front office for letting Kenneth Walker III walk and call him Darnold’s security blanket. Then it turns to the Niners side. The hosts credit Kyle Shanahan for making quarterbacks look like better versions of themselves, reopen the Trey Lance vs. James Wiseman debate, and ask why Niners fans should be thrilled even without a ring. The segment closes with the question of the day: who is the most important player on this 49ers offense through five weeks?
