Battagram to Besham Bike Tour 🏍️ | Skardu Safarnama Episode 03 | Karakoram Highway Travelogue: Skardu ​We reached Batagram in the evening and stayed overnight. Early the next morning, after taking a short tour of Batagram, we bade it farewell and set off toward Thakot. Before reaching Thakot comes a spot called 'Pashora', where after crossing the tunnel, a road to the left of the main highway leads toward Torghar District. ​Down by the riverbank lies an exceptionally beautiful and spacious spot where the stream coming from Batagram quietly merges into the river. Surrounded by mountains covered in lush green trees, sitting there makes you feel as though you've stepped into a completely different world. The true beauty and charm of this place are best experienced in the morning. ​We stayed there for a short while, then returned to the main road and continued toward Thakot. Upon reaching Thakot, we had breakfast and departed for Besham. Along the way, we crossed into the territory of Shangla; although the main area of Shangla lies on the Swat-to-Besham route, its boundary also touches the road between Thakot and Besham. ​Believe me, traveling along this winding road had a unique joy of its own.
