一日に二度だけ、海の上に線路があらわれます。 島が二百ある、静かな内海。 定期船が一日かけて、その全部を回っています。 今日は船を降りて、電車に乗りました。 潮が引いているあいだだけ、水面すれすれに線路が出ます。 一両だけの古い電車が、その上をゆっくり走っていきます。 下は海です。橋はありません。 窓の外が、ぜんぶ水でした。 浅いので底まで見えます。 石畳の並びと、低い塀と、四角い区画。 ここにも町があったのだと分かります。 魚が二匹、かつて誰かの家だった場所を横切っていきました。 水の上には紅葉が浮かんでいます。 どこから流れてきたのか、赤と黄色が点々と散っていました。 島の木が色づく季節なので、風が吹くたびに海に落ちるのでしょう。 水面は鏡のようで、雲がそのまま映っています。 上を見ても下を見ても空でした。 ベンチの端に、つばの広い帽子の人がひとり座っていました。 降りる駅を聞いてみようかと思って、やめました。 この電車は、たぶん終点まで行きます。 一時間ほど、窓の外を見ていました。 透明なシンセと控えめなビートでつないだ、1時間のエレクトロニカです。 今回は少し明るく、前に進む感じの音にしてあります。 季節の変わり目に窓を開けたときの、あの空気を目指しました。 作業・勉強・読書・ドライブ・眠る前に。 音が前に出てこないように作ってあるので、何かをしながら流しっぱなしにできます。 ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Inland Sea Electronica 二百の島を回る定期船から見えた、内海の一時間。 新しい情景を、週に二度ずつ更新しています。 チャンネル登録はこちら    / @inlandseaelectronica   再生リスト Inland Sea Electronica 全曲:    • InlandSea   ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Twice a day, a railway line appears on the sea. A quiet inland sea with two hundred islands, and one ferry that circles them all in a single day. Today I left the ferry and took the train instead. While the tide is out, the rails surface just above the water, and a single old carriage runs slowly along them. Below is the sea. There is no bridge. The water is shallow enough to see the bottom: paving stones, a low wall, square plots. There was a town here too. Two fish crossed what used to be somebody's house. Maple leaves float on the surface, red and yellow scattered across the blue, blown off the islands where the trees are turning. The water is a mirror, holding the clouds exactly as they are, so that whether you look up or down you are looking at the sky. One other passenger sat at the end of the bench, a wide hat pulled low. I thought about asking where they were getting off, and did not. One hour of transparent electronica, a little brighter this time, with the feeling of opening a window when the season changes.
