OFF TO SAIL! Beyond the Known World | Original Wind Symphony Composition

Hi guys! This is my first-ever original composition for wind symphony, written during my junior year of high school :D Inspired by Celtic fantasy, seafaring adventures, and the mysteries of the ocean, this piece follows a ship and its crew as they leave their hometown behind and venture beyond the known world. From the lively streets of a bustling harbor to the wonders and dangers of the open sea, the music tells a story of discovery, adventure, and the courage to explore the unknown. The music is contructed into V Movements: I. The Bustling Harbor A lively seaside town filled with merchants, sailors, and street musicians. As night falls, the harbor grows quiet beneath the moonlight, before waking up again on the morning of the expedition. II. To the Open Sea Ships sound their horns, the winds begin to howl, and the crew finally sets sail toward the horizon. III. Beneath the Waves Night falls over the ocean. Beneath a sky full of stars, mysterious creatures glide through the water as the ship approaches the edge of the known world. IV. The Uncharted Abyss The journey takes a dark turn as the ship enters a dangerous, uncharted realm filled with turbulent waters and mythical creatures lurking in the depths. V. Toward the Burning Horizon After surviving the storm, the crew sails toward a brilliant sunrise. Far from home, they face an unknown future, ready for whatever lies ahead. I'm so excited to finally share this piece, I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed writing it! SCORE AVAILABLE ON JW PEPPER The score is published and available for purchase on JW Pepper.
