GRIEF, LOSS, AND LOVE: Heart-Centered Education for Adoptive, Kinship & Foster Parents What if a child's challenging behaviour is actually grief they don't yet have the words to express? For children who have experienced adoption, foster care, or kinship care, grief and loss can show up in many ways — from anger and withdrawal to emotional outbursts and difficulties with connection. In this webinar, Michelle Earle, BSW, RSW, social worker and certified grief educator, explores how caregivers can better recognize the grief beneath children's behaviours and respond with compassion, understanding, and connection. 💙 IN THIS WEBINAR, YOU'LL EXPLORE: • Recognizing hidden grief behind challenging behaviours. • Understanding losses related to family, home, culture, and identity. • Having honest, supportive conversations about birth family. • Identifying grief triggers connected to anniversaries, milestones, and changes in family contact. • Recognizing caregiver grief and the importance of self-care. • Finding appropriate professional and community supports. The central message: Look beneath the behaviour. See the grief. Understand the loss. Lead with connection. 📄 PRESENTATION SLIDES Download Michelle's presentation slides: https://drive.google.com/file/d/188Ew... 💙 WE'D LOVE YOUR FEEDBACK!
