Riding above 16,000 ft, we follow roads that run parallel to the Line of Actual Control (LAC), with the vast expanse of Aksai Chin lying beyond the mountains. The journey passes through the legendary Rezang La, the battlefield where Major Shaitan Singh and the soldiers of 13 Kumaon made one of the greatest last stands in Indian military history during the 1962 Indo-China War.
