Our First Cal20 Race (CBYC 4-9-2025)

Our First Cal20 Race! And boy, do we have a lot to learn. Upwind boat speed and tactics sucked. We lost boats on two of three beats. And worst of all, two boats walked right past us on the final leg. Still, one design racing in the Cal 20 fleet was awesome. Can’t wait ‘til next week. A couple notes on the video. First, the sound sucks because I left the mic in my pocket. Durr! And second, this video is reframed, but uncut, meaning it’s in real time and an hour long. There’s gonna be slow parts. I won’t blame you for fast forwarding.
