Cecilia dreams of becoming a pilot. But behind that dream is a reality no child should have to navigate alone. Cecilia's father is seriously ill, and she currently lives with her aunt, who is doing her best to care for her despite the challenges they face. In the middle of these circumstances, Cecilia is still holding on to her dream of one day taking to the skies. For her, education is more than going to school. It is a pathway towards the future she imagines for herself. But staying in school and meeting her basic needs can be difficult without adequate support. The Girl Who Wants to Fly tells Cecilia's story, her circumstances, her aspirations, and why she deserves the opportunity to keep working towards her dream.
