Rishikesh to Sagar Village | Rudranath Yatra Day 2 🙏🏔️ Welcome to Day 2 of my Delhi to Rudranath travel series! Today we drove from Rishikesh deep into the Garhwal Himalayas. Our first stop was Devprayag, the holy confluence where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers meet to form the Ganga, and we took a holy dip at the Sangam. Next we visited Dhari Devi Temple on the banks of the Alaknanda for darshan of Maa Dhari Devi, the guardian goddess of the Char Dham. After a short break beyond Rudraprayag, we finally reached Sagar Village near Gopeshwar in Chamoli district, the base village for the Rudranath trek. We checked into our stay, had a warm dinner, and packed our bags for the early morning trek to Rudranath tomorrow!
