What happened to Jesus between age 12 and age 30? The Gospels record one extraordinary moment when he was twelve years old — then nothing. Eighteen years of silence. No explanation. No account. Just a gap. In this biblical history documentary, we investigate what archaeology and ancient texts reveal about those hidden years — the world Jesus grew up in, the education he received, and why the historical record is both empty and surprisingly revealing. 📌 In this documentary you will discover: — The city of Sepphoris: the Roman capital built one hour from Nazareth during Jesus' childhood — How Jewish boys were educated in first-century Galilee — and what Jesus almost certainly studied — What the Talmud records about a figure named Yeshu — and why scholars take it seriously — How the Dead Sea Scrolls transformed our understanding of Jewish life in Jesus' time — What the silence of the Gospels may actually be telling us Whether you approach this as history, archaeology, or faith — the world of first-century Galilee is far more complex than most people realize. And understanding it changes how you read everything else. 👉 Subscribe for more cinematic investigations into the historical world of the Bible. #hiddenjesus #jesushistory #biblicalhistory #biblicalarchaeology #deadseascrolls #jesusmissingyears #firstcentury #historydocumentary #sepphoris #gospelsongs This episode explores the significant gap in the biblical narratives, noting how the gospel of matthew, gospel of mark, gospel of luke, and gospel of john omit 18 years of Jesus' early life.
