Giant Puffball Mushroom Stir-Fry | From Discovery to Dinner

#GiantPuffball #MushroomForaging #WildFood A giant puffball beside a quiet country lane caught my eye — and I almost walked straight past it. Join me as I take a closer look, cut it open at home and turn the find into a puffball mushroom stir-fry. The story starts with a mushroom bigger than my hand. I return to the spot, share what I'm looking at and take it home for the reveal. Then it's onto the chopping board and into the frying pan, with onion, garlic, peppers, radish and seasoning, before a look at the finished plate. This is a short, personal foraging and cooking story, with the real discovery and preparation kept at its heart. If you enjoy wild food, mushroom discoveries and seeing an unusual ingredient become a meal, come along for the whole journey. You'll see the outside, the cut-open centre, the slices going into the pan and the final puffball stir-fry. I'm sharing my experience as a curious outdoor enthusiast; this video isn't a complete mushroom identification guide. FORAGING NOTE Never eat a wild mushroom based on this video or an app alone. Get a confident identification with qualified help if needed, and consider contamination at the picking site. The checks shown here are not a complete identification process. Cooking time varies; the time mentioned in the video is not a universal guide.
