VRAM doubling on a GTX 1050 | from 2 GB to 4 GB

In this video i will upgrade the VRAM of a GIGABYTE GTX 1050 from 2GB to 4GB. For this, i harvest the memory from a dead PS4 mainboard (SAC-001), reball the donor chips and solder them to the card. Afterwards, the memory straps need to be adjusted in order for the card to work properly. If done correctly, this mod can double the framerate in certain games, and give this aging card a much needed performance boost. If you like this video, please consider to subscribe, like and share! Thank you! Please note: Unfortunatley i cannot offer this or similar works as a service, I'm sorry! ---CHAPTERS--- 0:00 Intro 02:30 Harvesting the donor chips & reballing 04:56 Removal of the old memory Chips 07:05 Soldering the new memory chips to the card 08:51 Straps 13:45 Test the card 14:23 Benchmarks
