Jaguar Land Rover V6 and V8 cooling systems have a reputation for plastic components, coolant leaks, and failures that can quickly lead to overheating. In this video, I walk through the upgrades I've made to the cooling system on my 2020 Jaguar F-Pace SVR with the 5.0L supercharged V8, with the goal of eliminating as many of the known weak points as possible. Rather than waiting for the factory plastic parts and hard-to-reach rubber hoses to fail, I replaced several components with updated metal and silicone alternatives. I go over the upper and lower coolant crossover pipes, rear crossover pipe, water pump elbow, thermostat housing, water pump, silicone coolant hoses, and other parts worth considering while the supercharger is removed. Some of these cooling-system components and failure points are shared across Jaguar and Land Rover models using the AJ133 5.0L supercharged V8 and related AJ126 3.0L supercharged V6. Always verify individual part compatibility with your specific vehicle before ordering.
