Treavor Moontribe (Desert Dwellers) : How Much Of It Is Luck?

Episode 1 of The Skyote Moon Show. Treavor Moontribe has been a part of this scene since 1991. Co-founder of the Los Angeles based collective Moontribe, half of Desert Dwellers a globally touring legacy project of 26 years, label head of Dreaming Awake Records and one of the few people who has sustained a career in electronic music across four decades without compromising his artistry or his sound. Also happens to be my favorite DJ of all time. We talked about his first rave on New Year's Eve 1991, the night a friend said "I know a place in the desert" and how Moontribe began, the year Desert Dwellers almost ended, what makes a great DJ set, and what he believes has to happen before the next real cultural movement in music arrives. He also says something I didn't expect about luck.
