Tekken 8 - Season 2 - Zafina Returns to Ranked to seize Raijin Rank

As I mentioned in a recent post I finally returned to Ranked with Zafina for a short and brief run to regain Raijin rank once again after a long hiatus since Season 2 started. I had some nice warm up matches with a friend beforehand so it really loosened me although I still got off to a slow start in the first match with the Jun player which led to a early loss but soon I settled myself after that and pressed my way past them with more thought out tactics. Usually Yoshi annoys me but I've gotten more used to him and held my own pretty well against them well even on the tight Arena stage. I fell for his spin evasions a bit but kept my composure well in those moments. I do manage to land a CH SCR D3,3 in the last round of this set and do a variation of the heat dash combo I shared recently ending at the wall which was a cool highlight. The Claudio match was a odd one since the player had at times seemed to lag switch alot. It probably won't be that noticeable in the replay all that well well but that is why there are sudden pauses on my part in that set. Nonetheless I adapted to it and won the set 2-0. I do like that they let Zafina's intro with Claudio fully play out which looked cool with her in the Tanya inspired custom :-). The opening match with the Feng player was for my promo which I sealed rather easily since I could tell they didn't have much experience against Zafina which may have made it a bit underwhelming. I bobbled a chance at another CH SCR d3,3 combo attempt once round which annoyed me but didn't affect the outcome of things too much. I was up for a rematch but they opted not to which I found out when I saw the VOD on their Twitch stream later on. GGs though. I had to settle for recording replay clips for since at the time I didn't have OBS on record for some odd reason but hopefully the way I merged these all together isn't all too jarring. #tekken8 #zafina #tekken8zafina #tekken8gameplay Time Stamps: 0:00 - Zafina Vs Jun 7:55 - Zafina vs Yoshimitsu 14:13 - Zafina vs Claudio 18:48 - Raijin Promo Match - Zafina vs Feng
