What if you could grow your mortgage business without giving up your life to do it? More money. More Realtor relationships. More business. More freedom. But most loan officers never actually get the last one. Because they build their business first… …and then try to squeeze their family, vacations, hobbies, friends, health, and everything else into whatever time is left over. That's backwards. You should build the life first. Then build the business around it. That's what I mean by preloading your year. In this video, I'll show you how to start putting your entire year on the calendar before the year gets away from you. Not just your business. Your life. Vacations. Family events. Date nights. Hobbies. Days completely off. Time with friends. Personal care. Learning and development. And yes… Realtor meetings, classes, happy hours, appreciation events, and the other activities that actually make you money. We'll cover: — The Keep / Stop / Start exercise I use to clean out the old and make room for the new — How to audit your expenses, marketing, and Realtor relationships — Why you need to decide what you're going to do before you worry about how you're going to do it — How to set your volume, units, and Realtor-partner goals — How many actual free days you want in your year — How to define what freedom looks like weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly — How to turn your biggest goals into actual calendar commitments — Why your vacations and family events belong on the calendar before your business does — How happy hours, classes, stacked meetings, and appreciation events can actually become part of the freedom you're creating — And why the goal isn't to work 80 hours a week Here's the thing. A lot of people say they want freedom. But then they leave their calendar completely open. And when you leave your calendar open, your business will fill it. A client needs something. A Realtor calls. A deal blows up. Another meeting pops up. And suddenly that vacation you were "going to take" isn't happening. That Friday you wanted off becomes another workday. And the hobbies you used to love disappear somewhere along the way. So here's the exercise: What the hell do you really want? What do you want your year to look like? Where do you want to go? Who do you want to spend time with? What do you want to do more of? What do you want to stop doing? And what are you actually willing to do to create it? Then… Put it on the calendar. Because thinking about the life you want isn't enough. Writing it down isn't enough. You have to schedule it. And then you have to protect it. That's how you build a business that gives you more of the life you actually wanted when you got into this business in the first place. Build a business that wants the best of you—not more of you. ———————————— Start Here If you haven't watched the previous video, go back to How to Meet with More Agents in 2 Months than Most LOs Do in 2 Years.    • How to Meet with More Agents in 2 Days Tha...   I flew 1,500 miles away into a brand-new market and met with dozens of real estate agents in just a few days. But here's the important part: You shouldn't have to sacrifice your family, vacations, hobbies, or your life to do that. This video is about making the business fit the life—not the other way around. Because the goal was never just to get more Realtors. The goal is to build a business that gives you the freedom to actually enjoy your life. ———————————— Watch Next Now that you've decided what you want your calendar to look like, there's one more problem: How do you actually get the Realtor meetings onto that calendar? Because there's a big difference between having a calendar full of appointments… …and having a calendar full of appointments that happen on your terms. In the next video, we're talking about Appointment Stacking.    • The Appointment Stacking System   I'll show you how to structure your Realtor meetings so you're working efficiently, stacking appointments together, and creating specific times when you meet with agents. Instead of this: "Hey, when are you free?" "How about Tuesday?" "I can't do Tuesday." "What about Thursday?" "I'm busy Thursday." …and spending the next three weeks trying to find 30 minutes that works for both of you. You create the schedule. You decide when you're meeting with agents. You stack the meetings. And then you invite Realtors into the time you've already designated for it. Because you're building a business around your life. Not begging your life to fit around your business. That's Appointment Stacking. And that's what we're doing next.
