The Master Builder: Building on Unshakeable Ground | Matthew 7:24–27 | Episode 55

THE MASTER BUILDER — BUILDING ON UNSHAKEABLE GROUND Living The Verse Podcast — Episode 55 What happens when the storms of life begin to shake everything around us? Jesus gives us the answer in Matthew 7:24–27. Two builders built houses, and both houses faced the storm. The difference wasn't the storm. The difference was the foundation. In Episode 55 of Living The Verse, Pastor Don Millman explores what it means to faithfully build our lives on Jesus Christ—the Master Builder—and why the most important parts of our faith are often the things nobody else sees. Prayer. Scripture. Obedience. Forgiveness. Integrity. Faithfulness. These may seem like small, hidden choices, but they become the spiritual framework of our lives. When the storm comes, it's not the exterior finish that holds us up. It's the foundation. Isaiah 28:16 reminds us that God provides a sure foundation. Psalm 62:5–6 declares that He alone is our rock and salvation. Romans 8 reminds us that if God is for us, nothing can ultimately stand against us, and Romans 8:1 reminds us that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. And Hebrews 12:28 points us toward something even greater—a kingdom that cannot be shaken. 🎙️ IN THIS EPISODE • Building your life on the foundation of Christ • Why spiritual discipline matters when nobody is watching • Faithfulness in the foundational details • Standing firm when life's storms arrive • Understanding the difference between hearing God's Word and putting it into practice • Finding security in Christ rather than circumstances • Remembering that our hope rests on an unshakeable foundation 📖 SCRIPTURE Matthew 7:24–27 — The Wise and Foolish Builders Romans 8:31–35 — If God is for us, who can be against us? Choose one spiritual discipline that nobody else may see and practice it faithfully for the next seven days. Pray. Read God's Word. Forgive. Serve. Worship. Listen. Obey. Don't worry about making it impressive. Make it faithful. Because the things nobody sees today may be the very things that allow you to stand tomorrow. ________________________________________ 💭 REFLECTION QUESTIONS 1. What am I building my life on? 2.
