We focused on the hamstrings with three exercises—Prime Lying Leg Curls, Gym80 Seated Leg Curls, and Dumbbell Stiff-Leg Deadlifts—without doing any pressing movements. 1. Prime Lying Leg Curl Lift your upper body slightly to find a neutral position. As you curl, keep your hips firmly pressed against the pad. Curl your legs all the way in, then finish by squeezing the hamstrings one more time. Avoid arching your lower back. 2. Gym80 Seated Leg Curl Keep your hips firmly against the pad. At the starting position, align your thighs and lower legs naturally in a straight line. Keep a slight bend in your knees rather than locking them, so your hamstrings stay under tension from the start. Then curl the weight without letting your hips lift off the seat. 3. Dumbbell Stiff-Leg Deadlift Grip the dumbbells firmly and lower them slowly until you feel a stretch in your hamstrings, keeping your back neutral. Don’t tense your body so much on the way down that it restricts the movement; lower under control without bracing your core. On the way up, push through the floor, engage your abs, and drive your hips forward to stand. What matters more than the weight is your setup and how you feel the muscles working through each rep.
