Can I Make a Full Song Using ONLY the Behringer UB-Xa? *ONE SYNTH / ONE SONG – Behringer UB-Xa* In this episode, I'm challenging myself to create a complete electronic track using only the Behringer UB-Xa for all the synth sounds. From the very first musical idea to the final mastered track, you'll follow the entire creative process. No pre-written song, no finished arrangement. Just experimenting with sounds, improvising melodies, building chord progressions and seeing where the music takes me. *From Idea to Finished Master* Throughout the video, I take you through: 🎹 Sound design and experimenting with the UB-Xa 🎵 Creating melodies, basslines, chords and arpeggios 🥁 Building the drum groove using XLN Audio XO 🎛️ Recording and arranging in Logic Pro 🔄 Re-recording parts and changing ideas that didn't work 🔧 Dealing with analog oscillator tuning and temperature-related pitch drift 🎚️ Mixing and processing the individual tracks 🔊 Finishing the song with analog outboard mastering *Not Everything Goes According to Plan* Working with analog hardware comes with its own challenges. During the recording process, I ran into tuning issues with the UB-Xa. Analog oscillators can drift as the instrument warms up, so calibration became part of the process. Some of the original drum ideas didn't fit the arrangement either, which meant going back, replacing sounds and reworking parts of the track. But that's also what music production is about. Experimenting, making mistakes, finding solutions and gradually turning an idea into a finished song. *The Final Track – Out of Sync* The result is *Out of Sync*, a melodic electronic track combining warm analog synthesizers, funky rhythmic chords, driving basslines and modern electronic drums. Musically, it leans toward indie dance, nu-disco and modern synthpop rather than traditional synthwave. *Equipment & Software* Synthesizer: Behringer UB-Xa DAW: Apple Logic Pro Drums: XLN Audio XO Plugins: SSL, Xfer OTT, Sonnox Oxford Inflator Analog Mastering: Tegeler Creme, Drawmer, TK-lizer 3 All synthesizer sounds were created using the Behringer UB-Xa. Drums were produced separately using XO. *Thanks for Watching!* If you enjoy synthesizers, analog hardware, sound design and the creative process behind electronic music, consider subscribing for more One Synth / One Song episodes. The Behringer UB-Xa is inspired by the legendary Oberheim OB-Xa, originally released in 1981. It recreates the classic analog sound while offering modern features and 16-voice polyphony. Let me know in the comments what you think of the UB-Xa and the finished track! *AIRswe – Out of Sync* #BehringerUBXa #UBXa #OneSynthOneSong #Synthesizer #AnalogSynth #MusicProduction #LogicPro #IndieDance #NuDisco #AIRswe
