Mt Kenya University to Kiganjo Estate The bedroom of Thika Town

Mount Kenya University to Kiganjo Estate — The Bedroom of Thika Town From the busy academic surroundings of Mount Kenya University, the journey toward Kiganjo Estate reveals a quieter residential side of Thika. As the university atmosphere gradually fades, the road leads into communities where students, workers, and families return home after the bustle of the day. Kiganjo Estate can truly be described as “the bedroom of Thika Town”—a peaceful residential area where the energy of the town settles into everyday home life. It represents the contrast between Thika's busy commercial and educational centre and the calm neighbourhoods that give the town its residential character.
