When working within an assembly with multiple components that have the same mates associated to it, it may get quite time consuming creating these mates repeatedly. Through the use of SOLIDWORKS’ Mate Reference feature, we can pre-define these mates within the part level to have parts automatically snap into place in an assembly without needing to define them multiple times.
