"Ye shall dwell in booths seven days... that your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt."
— Leviticus 23:42–43
"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us."
— John 1:14
Five days after the Day of Atonement, God gave Israel a strange command: go outside, and build something that will not last.
SUKKOT — the Feast of Tabernacles — is the season of fragile shelters, open roofs, and commanded joy. For seven days, Israel sat beneath branches and remembered that the wilderness years were not the years God was distant. They were the years He was closest.
This 2-hour Hebrew inspired worship journey moves through the heart of the feast: the shelter of the sukkah, the four species held together, the seven guests who come at night, the water drawn with joy in the Temple courts, the great cry of Hosanna, and finally the evening prayer for a shelter of peace.
Let it play as you pray, rest, or fall asleep. The final section is extended ambient worship for deep rest.
