Manju Nigar - Kavadi Chindu - Senjurutti - T. K. Ramaswami Pathar

Our channel presents a very rare recording, of the famous kavadi chindu by Annamalai Reddiyar, set to a folk tune, sung by T. K. Ramaswami Pathar. Ramaswami pathar has recorded many folk songs and devotional verses for the gramophone company during the late 1910s. He is said to be one of the gurus of the legendary actor M. K. Thyagaraja Bhagavathar. Do listen and enjoy to this peppy rendition! Audio Courtesy: Sri R. Natarajan #carnaticmusic #folksong #kavadisongs #78rpm #shellac
