Chapter 9 of our 2026 Sailing trip! Welcome back aboard, Salty Sailors! After leaving Foxtown, we make our way West over Little Bahama Bank to West End, Grand Bahama Island to avoid some heavy weather. Old Bahama Bay Marina was a perfect spot to be storm-stayed for 3 days with beautiful views, a great restaurant and a super fun beach bar "Da Straw Bar". After copious amounts of rum and fresh cracked conch, the weather improves for us and we have the best sailing day of our lives heading south 60 miles to Bimini. Now we are staged perfectly for our Gulf Stream crossing back into Florida waters!
