FAS TV S6 Ep 15 Overcoming Adversity - Angus Livingston & Joe Barker

Farming takes strength, resilience, and determination. On this week’s FAS TV we meet Angus Livingston and Joe Barker, two inspirational young farmers. Adversity is part of their story – but it doesn’t define them. Both are proving that no challenge should stand in the way of following your passion. Angus is breaking barriers from his wheelchair, making significant changes to his family farm including a 94% fuel saving through changes to cultivation and sowing benefiting both the farm business and the environment. Joe Barker speaks openly about his mental health and wellbeing alongside the pressures of taking responsibility for his families farming business, highlighting the important role Young Farmers plays as a support network in Scottish Agriculture. Scotland’s Farm Advisory Service (FAS) is funded by the Scottish Government, providing information and resources aimed at increasing the profitability and sustainability of farms and crofts.
