Last summer I hiked to Mist Falls from Land's End in Kings Canyon National Park, California, with my field crew. The hike was moderately strenuous with about 280 m of elevation gain over 12 km. The trail leads along the roaring South Fork Kings River for much of the way which culminates in the stunning Mist Falls. After the hike and on the way back out of the canyon, we also stopped at Roaring River Falls, Grizzly Falls, and finally visited the General Grant Tree - 3rd largest tree in the world, and surrounding giant sequoia grove. Watch to see all the highlights!
