✈️🚆 Full journey on the MTR Airport Express from AsiaWorld Expo/Airport to Hong Kong

This video was filmed on 2023/11/29. The MTR Airport Express was opened in 1998 alongside the Hong Kong International Airport (HKG). It only takes less than 30 minutes to travel between the airport and the city. AsiaWorld-Expo Station was opened later in 2005. The Airport Express trains are the premium version of the Tung Chung Line CAF-trains. The maximum operating speed is the same at 135km/h, but the seats differ. The seats are similar to an intercity train but with no reserved seating. The fee for the Airport Express is very high. Travelling the entire Airport Express will cost HKD 110 (USD 14, EUR 13). Luckily I don't have to pay the fee for this ride due to a lucky draw. The Airport Express runs every 10 minutes, but there aren't that many people using it.
