Imagine walking into a business and seeing a sign telling you where you can or cannot go based only on the color of your skin. Would you accept that today—or would you say we’re moving backward? In this video, I’m opening up a serious conversation about race, segregation, and equality. America has a documented history of racial segregation, including “Whites Only” signs that excluded Black Americans from businesses, schools, transportation, and other public spaces. So what would people say if racial separation started appearing again today? Would anyone support separate spaces based on race? Would the reaction change depending on which group created the space? And where should the line be between freedom of association and racial discrimination?
