Lindsay Clancy Told Therapist She Had ‘Continuous’ Dark Thoughts

Leticia Dukes, a former perinatal mental health counselor at South Shore Hospital, testified about treating Lindsay Clancy beginning in December 2022 for postpartum anxiety and depression. Dukes said Clancy reported severe anxiety, lack of sleep, depression and frequent intrusive thoughts about not wanting to be alive, but denied having a plan. Dukes also testified that Clancy later contacted a crisis support service after a difficult weekend, though she did not meet the criteria for inpatient treatment at the time.
