#pvz2 It's tradition that whenever you play something involving Rome, you have to reference that one video from Creeps, "Rome can't be a world... and Zombosseum proves it." So, here's Roman Glory, a new realm based on Roman Zombies. It would be nice if I could read Chinese. 10 levels of Normal and Hard Mode, obviously based on Rome, so here's the first 5 of Normal Mode. Zombies are Level 3, and Level 7 on Hard Mode. The rewards are really generous too, I got Thorn Wizard off of this, and a lot of pieces for Cosmic Mushroom. I COULD have steamrolled everything with Dark Matter Dragonfruit and Auberninja, but I at least wanted to have some fun here. Each level has 3 optional objectives that are almost impossible to fail, and you get an extra 100 Rubies for each one. In general you get 2000 Coins, 50 gems, 2000 rubies, 2 Thorn Wizard pieces, and 3 Cosmic Mushroom pieces for each level. Pretty much every single Zombie is exactly the same as International. Roman Shields are basically stronger Camel Zombies, and as usual, some of them hold the shield over their head instead to block lobbed projectiles. Medusa and Zcorpion are the same too, they just appear in later levels. There is actually a new Zombie called Gladiator Zombie, but he's not in this video. Roman Healer is useless because he can't heal armor and there's no bulky Zombies without armor, but there's 2 gimmicks that are new. Eagle Standards drop from the sky and can be picked up by Zombies (Not specials though). They give the Zombie and all others in a 3x3 50% damage resistance and debuff immunity. It's a problem when a Centurion or Bust Head get it, since they're extremely bulky. When the Zombie dies, it drops the Eagle Standard, which can be picked up again by another. Magnet-Shroom is the only way to remove it, but it only works AFTER the Eagle Standard has been picked up and dropped at least once. This is so you can counter it without the counter making it completely useless. There's also Gladiatorial Rows. The Zombot Hot-Rodicus will show up from the sky and annihilate the middle lane, and you'll get a mini battle there in a small colosseum. All other gameplay is paused while this happens. Zombies spawn from cages, and you have 2 tiles of space to defeat them with plants, and 2 tiles on the Zombies side. Personally I just one-shotted everything there with Dark Matter Dragonfruit. All plants are free during it. If you win (Either defeat all Zombies or have the timer run out), you get 10 Plant Food, which is overkill. If you LOSE (Let the Zombies destroy the Trophy), 20 Zombies will be dropped on the right from cages, ranging from Flags to Centurions. It's really hard to lose though. The soundtrack is awesome though, Talkweb always goes all out with the OST. First Wave is a little too intense for the lack of action at the start though, it sounds like it could replace Final Wave.
