Eating Like a Local at Dave's Town Club in Delano, MN

In this week's episode of Tasting Our Way, we visit Dave's Town Club-the kind of place where locals grab a bite, and for good reason. This hometown bar and grill in Delano, Minnesota was recommended to us by Bud at Rieder Meat Market, and it turns out Dave's uses Bud's freshly ground beef in their burgers daily. We kicked things off with a German Burger-a quarter-pound patty topped with kraut and ham, all on a soft sesame seed bun. On the side? A creamy coleslaw with hints of dill and apple cider vinegar that surprised us with its brightness. For dessert, we shared a hot apple tart with caramel drizzle-simple and comforting, just like the setting. And to drink, Chad enjoyed a Shell's Firebrick-a smooth amber lager brewed in New Ulm, MN.
