A lion killed a man on the road out of Bethel. Then it did something lions don't do: it didn't eat him, and it didn't touch his donkey. It just stood there, beside the body, in the middle of the road.
The dead man was a prophet who had just obeyed God in front of a king. The man who sent him down that road was also a prophet — and the Bible says plainly, "He lied to him." The liar went home. He lived.
It's one chapter in the middle of 1 Kings, the kind of page people turn quickly. This video argues that the lion wasn't the end of the prophet's message — it was the seal on it. And by the end, even the liar would be counting on that message to protect his own bones.
This video retells the story using only the biblical text — no legends, no outside theories.

The old prophet is never punished in this chapter. He grieves. He buries. He believes. So was he forgiven — or did he spend the rest of his life knowing whose grave he would lie in? Tell me in the comments.
