Taking Youtube seriously won't lead to growth. But this will.

I've been a professional editor for 10 years. But I think taking Youtube "unseriously" is the only way I'll succeed, and I think this might be true for you, too. I've spent the last few months trying making videos and testing which strategy makes the most sense. I tried putting almost a month into one video. Then I tried making simpler, easier-to-produce videos that I could actually make consistently. Neither approach, on their own, felt quite right. So this video is me explaining a third option: producing with intention without letting YouTube's numbers, monetization, or the idea of "making it" determine whether you think what you're creating is worthwhile.
