From there the drive turns west on Hollywood Blvd and picks up Biscayne Blvd (US-1) northbound, with palm-lined streets and wide open sky overhead. Griffin Rd carries the route west into Davie. The middle of the drive runs through the heart of Broward. It goes north on University Dr, east on Sunrise Blvd toward Fort Lauderdale, then south on SR-7 (US-441) for a long inland stretch all the way down to Miami Gardens. The return heads east on NW 183rd St, north on Biscayne Blvd, east across the William Lehman Causeway, and south on Collins Ave to finish where it began. The sky changes the whole way through.
