I was "sucker-punched" in Kyoto. And I actually enjoyed it. I'm Jordan, and this is the second part of the Epic Kansai Day Trip I took with my buddy Daniel back in February. Just joining us now? Here's the plan: Starting from Mie Prefecture in central Japan, we first catch the train to Kyoto, where we visit two fantastic brew pubs, Kyoto Brewing and Kyoto Beer Lab. After that we head to the town of Yamazaki, in the mountains on the Kyoto-Osaka border. Why? Because this is the location of the legendary Suntory Yamazaki whiskey distillery. After spending a little time at the tasting bar, we move on to Osaka, for dinner. And hopefully make it back home again on the last train. If this sounds like fun to you, you’re welcome to join us. But no promises that things go exactly according to plan! In this video, as the title suggests, we’ll be checking out the amazing brew pub, Kyoto Beer Lab. If anyone is wondering about the music used in this video, most of it is from the YouTube creator's free library, with a few exceptions. The opening sequence features a remix (by Doctor Ebot) that includes material recorded from the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra's performance of the Mario Bros. theme. There's also some Koto music that was recorded from a live performance in Kyoto. (Musician unknown. Sorry.)
