About the Company Since its establishment in 2008, Jade has built a value-added production process through the team’s hard work and many achievements. Celebrating its 11th year, in 2019, Jade progresses towards the future in a global scale, as a company that creates value through its production and export capacity. Jade started its ready to wear production under the name of Jade Apparel Industries in Alexandria in 2008 and opened its second factory in Cairo under the name of Jade Textile Egypt dramatically increasing its production capacity. In 2019, by the opening of a new factory in Ismailia, Jade Textile Ismailia, Jade is expanding its operations to include knitting, dyeing and ready to wear production all under the same roof. With this latest investment, Jade will be able to carry on the production from yarn to finished garment in one integrated facility. Jade, plays an accretive role in the Egyptian economy by employing more than 7000 staff; with a daily production of 100,000 pieces; has the world-renowned brands like Nike and Under Armour among its customers; and has achieved status as the 2nd largest exporter in the ready to wear sector of Egypt with an export volume of USD$ 85 million in 2018. In the next 3 years, Jade aims to have an export volume of USD$ 200 million and a manpower of 10,000 employees. In 2008, when the Yeşim group was deciding in what country to establishing our new facilities, we put our full confidence in the potential of Egypt and its human resources. Based on the vision of our founder, Şükrü Şankaya and my Grand Father, as a group, we approach everything with the philosophy “People First”.
