The balcony I'd been putting off since I moved in. It was cloudy, and cooler than August usually is. No plans, nowhere to be — so I finally scrubbed it. Once it was clean, I couldn't stop. The air conditioner filter, the vacuum, and the floors on my hands and knees. Lunch was supposed to be somen — thin, cold wheat noodles — but one bundle wasn't enough, so I made a tuna and cabbage rice bowl to go with it.
