WHO TURNS THE WHEEL? | THE MACHINERY OF WAR — Track 01

"Dear listeners. There are times when peace does not end with a gunshot. It ends in a quiet room, behind closed doors. When the scales of trade turn into instruments of power, when energy takes the form of chains, and when fear becomes the common language of nations—the war has already begun. We are assured that the machinery serves humanity. But who stops the machine when man no longer dares? And who bears the responsibility, when everyone claims they were only doing their duty?" THE MACHINERY OF WAR — Track 01 An original gothic progressive rock concept album by Luukinen Experience. Wars do not always begin with gunfire. Sometimes they begin in quiet rooms, behind closed doors, where decisions are made far from the people who will live with their consequences. A signature. A trade agreement. An energy supply. A shifting border. And somewhere, the machinery begins to turn. WHO TURNS THE WHEEL? opens THE MACHINERY OF WAR, an eight-track concept album exploring the machinery of military power, economics, energy, political decisions, and the human cost of conflict. The song begins with a solemn spoken passage in Finnish, followed by dark gothic progressive rock, industrial undertones, heavy guitars, atmospheric keyboards, and deep baritone vocals. The accompanying video tells its story through cinematic still images inspired by the tensions and conflicts of our modern world. The images are fictional interpretations, not documentary footage. This is not a story about one nation, one leader, or one war. It is a story about decisions, responsibility, and the systems we create. Who turns the wheel? Who makes the call? And who answers when we fall? THE MACHINERY OF WAR An eight-track concept album. Track 01 — WHO TURNS THE WHEEL? More tracks from the album will follow.
