Back home, she shreds cabbage and carrots to prepare a huge barrel of sauerkraut using a traditional recipe passed down through generations. Little Veronika helps peel carrots while Yaroslav plays nearby. Together, they prepare delicious fermented cabbage for winter. 🥕❤️ 🍅 *Homemade Ketchup for Winter* Oksana also makes homemade ketchup from fresh tomatoes. She grinds and slowly cooks them outdoors over an open fire before preserving the delicious ketchup in glass jars for winter. 🔥🍅 🏡 *Hardworking Village Life* Between cooking and preserving food, Oksana paints the metal posts supporting the roof of their family home. 🍖🔥 *Giant Pork Ribs Cooked Outdoors* In the evening, Vasyl joins Oksana to prepare a special family dinner. They fry giant marinated pork ribs in a huge outdoor pan, adding cabbage, homemade ketchup, and creamy sour cream.
