Tried to go flying a few days after last time but got so hot after a couple of aborted launches had to call it quits. Back went out for a couple of weeks after that. We got forecast calm winds for a few days and a high cloud base so decided to go for it, not quite as favorable as I thought it would be. Winds aloft were pushing close to 10 from the west. Not sure if im going to pick up where I left off with tow lessons as lookout. My ushpa member ship is about to expire and wasnt really worth it given that I got a handful of lessons over the course of a year, rain messed up this summer, and usually 1 out of 4 trips out there ends up a no fly coz its too windy. Seems the place to fly is japan, I see those guys posting vids year around and its all foot launch. #flphg #hanggliding
