In this gripping episode, Shlloka sits down with Colonel Rajeev Bagga- an Indian Army veteran, defense analyst and NSG Black Cat commando who served 32.5 years, around 20 of them in combat zones. From hunting militants in the Kashmir Valley to the night of 26/11 at the Taj, he shares what really happens inside India's most elite counter-terror operations. Colonel Bagga breaks down the intelligence game, NSG weapons and close-quarter combat, the sniper's role, heli-borne tactics, covert operations and sky marshals- then switches to the survival skills he teaches, from finding water and food in the jungle to protecting yourself from wild animals. He also speaks on the brutal NSG training that forges a commando, women in the forces, the National Rifles, the Manipur conflict, and the hard lessons of 26/11. A rare, unfiltered look into courage, discipline and the mindset of a soldier. ✨ What You Will Discover 🪷 How an NSG commando "hunts" militants instead of guarding against them 🪷 The intelligence game- mapping a terrorist's habits, voice and disguises 🪷 How ordinary informers (even pickpockets) crack an operation 🪷 Are Indian Special Forces better than US Special Forces? 🪷 NSG weapons- Uzi, MP5 and close-quarter combat explained 🪷 The real role of a sniper- the "eyes and ears" of an operation 🪷 Jungle survival- water, food, fire, shelter and the survival mindset 🪷 How to test whether a plant or berry is safe to eat 🪷 Protecting yourself from tigers and wild animals 🪷 Heli-borne tactics- slithering, rappelling and fast-roping 🪷 Covert operations and the secret world of sky marshals 🪷 Inside brutal NSG training- breaking mind, body and soul 🪷 Women in the NSG, the National Rifles and why Manipur is burning 🪷 The untold details of the 26/11 Taj operation Timestamps: 00:00 Introduction 🎙️ 01:06 Guest Introduction 🙏 03:54 Life-Threatening Operations 🙅‍♂️ 06:06 Intelligence & Informers 🕵️ 09:31 Cordon & Firefight 💥 12:00 India vs US Forces 🇮🇳 14:01 NSG Weapons & Close-Quarter Combat 🔫 18:35 Surviving As A Target 🥷 20:13 Jungle Survival & Survival Kit 🌲🎒 23:08 Finding Water & Eating In The Wild 💧🐍 27:04 Survival Mindset & Wild Animals 🧠🐯 30:55 Heli-Borne Force & Airborne Operations 🚁🏔️ 36:36 Covert Operations & Sky Marshals 🥸✈️ 44:17 NSG Training & Extreme Challenges 💪🌊 48:29 Women In NSG 👩‍✈️ 49:26 National Rifles & Manipur Conflict 🪖🔥 53:00 26/11 Taj Attacks 🏨 58:06 Making A Leader 🎖️ 59:57 Closing Thoughts 🙏 🌸 Today's Episode Highlights: Colonel Rajeev Bagga turns decades of frontline experience into a masterclass on courage, strategy and survival- from the psychology of hunting a militant to the discipline that forges an NSG commando.
